“ I absolutely love this place. Everytime I stop by they really make you feel welcome. I was there during the karaoke and a couple times after that. It's really nice to just be able to sit down and try a few drinks. The service is really quick as long as it's not right after trivia. The place is relatively clean, the drinks are on the stronger side if you ask for mixed drinks but I don't mind that at all. I usually go for the porter on tap. Overall it's just a good time and I'll be back soon enough to pay a visit. ”
“ Went on a Saturday solo summer night and super fun. Karaoke. Visited before and remembered it for the low key, FUN, and awesome vibe. The crowd is upbeat and chill, LGBT friendly in a non exploitive way, attentive friendly bartenders, and just the right amount of space to relax and socialize. I would recommend this to you if you are arriving alone or meeting up with friends. The 5 stars are for the genuinely great establishment and all around vibes. ”
“ Best bar in north Seattle by far!! I go for karaoke Tuesday Friday & Sunday nights (10:30 start time) Recently Tuesdays have become quite intense at monkey with the bar overflowing with college kids! I don’t know how the staff handles it. They’re still super nice to me. You gotta wait in line 20 minutes for a drink but it’s not in-and-out, you gotta just be patient. Long live the monkey! ”

“ Affordable drinks and great Friday night trivia and karaoke! No food sold here but you can bring in our own. Update: Cats out of the bag about Monkey Pup! In order to get a table for 8 PM Friday night trivia you should plan to be there around 7-7:15. It quickly feels up and they won't let you in if they are at capacity. It costs 3 per person (cash only) and you can have up to 6 people on a team. There are definitely regulars that come every Friday! Recently visited for their anniversary (16 or 19, can't remember which) and they had fun special prizes for trivia. Our team came in 6th place and we got to pick from a treasure chest of goodies. Karaoke has been incredible lately too! Xuan is wonderful! But make sure to sign up early because the wait quickly gets up to over an hour. ”
“ I love divey places so this definitely hit the spot. Seems to have plenty of board games you can request like chess, yahtzee, cards against humanity, etc. Two pool tables and big buck hunter. Dark environment lit by fluorescent beer signs. Good first experience and there's a tattoo shop next door. Definitely my preferred environment so I'll be back. Also, monkeys are cool af. ”
